ENERGY METALS MINING SESSION

12:30 - 12:50 / 01.Jul.2020 (BST - British Summer Time)

Development of energy metals and materials mining hubs in Europe

Stimulated by the global de-carbonisation agenda, a wide range of technology companies are integrating energy metals and technologies into their core products and services. These activities are promoting battery production in Europe and create opportunities for Western European and Nordic mines to activate the production of battery minerals, lithium, cobalt, and nickel. This session will provide an overview of activities around opening new energy metals and minerals production mines and exploration projects in Western and Northern Europe. It will also offer an interactive platform for the European mine operators, technology companies, regulators, and investors to discuss the prospects of energy mining trends, opportunities, and impediments.
