At the time of unprecedented concerns about the future, let us remind ourselves that the mining industry serves the fundamental needs of our society by providing materials for building hospitals, schools, roads, power systems, machines, communications networks and much, much more.

As most of the world is self-isolating due to COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of mines and exploration projects in Europe are still operating.

We are inviting miners, geologists, engineers, operators, investors, social activists, and really anyone who is involved in day-to-day mining across Europe to share the stories of their mines by taking part in #MyMine2020 sharing platform hosted by MINEX Europe Mining and Exploration Forum.

• What changes did your mine implement to adapt to pandemic regulations?
• How is your company ensuring the health and safety of workers?
• Can you share stories about projects your company launched to support local communities?
• What technologies have you used to reduce disruptions to ongoing operations?
• Can you share stories of the local heroes at your mine?

The best stories will be published on #MyMine 2020 and shared on MINEX Forum social media platform.

   2. Your story will be published on the Forum website and shared through social media.
   3. Delegates attending the forum will vote for the best photos.
   4. At the end of the Forum, we will organise online charity auction and will send money to a charity organisation or local organisation of your choice.
